Choke No Joke will release his tell-all documentary in 09’
Former Rocafella Videographer & BET Producer Choke No Joke will release his tell-all documentary “I Am Choke No Joke” revealing the downfall of Rocafella amongst other things.
As he worked for the legendary label, Choke witnessed the rise and fall of the Roc. His documentary includes lots of juicy stories chronicling the infighting and contentious relationship between former business partners Jay-Z and Damon Dash.
In a recent interview, Choke said : “Dame was a camera freak. He loved people to tape him, ’cause he started thinking he was a star . . . Ever since the ’Big Pimpin’ video, he started gettin’ a little light and it started to get to his head.”
He also claims that Dash’s signing of Ol’ Dirty Bastard and his proposal of Cam’ronas a vice president of the label (which Jay-Z rejected) were among the disputes that drove a wedge between the two : “Jay wasn’t feeling none of that sh**” .
